Air Max 1 - Guava Ice
Feb 21
Hi Shawn,
Today I was busy with the pattern work for your shoes. After the patterns are lasered, I can start on your one-of-one.
Before we had this machine, all our patterns were from paper. From now on, we will work with acrylic patterns which ensures even more the right shape for the patterns!
I keep you updated!

Deconstructing the soles and painting
6th of February 2023
Hi Shawn,
I deconstructed the soles last week and I started painting the soles. After the soles are completely dry after a few more coats, I’ll show you the result. In the picture it seems a little too heavy yellow but I’ll make it lighter as discussed.
The embroidery files are done and the materials that I needed are in. I can’t wait to stitch those parts together.
Sam

-
'Long time'
We understand that having to wait approximately 12 weeks for your shoes to arrive can feel like forever. We require 12 weeks for your order to finish to make sure to deliver the highest quality of sneakers. Quality over quantity right? However, to make sure you don’t feel empty-handed in the time it takes to create your pair we will keep you updated about the state of your sneaker and the shoemaking process. We strive to deliver you a new update every two to three weeks.
-
Behind the scenes
These updates include behind-the-scenes process information about your sneaker being made. We will show you how your sneaker came to life and what steps we took in the shoemaking process.
-
Teaching
Besides the regular updates about your sneakers being made, we also provide information about the shoemaking process as a skill. This way you’ll learn some of the shoemaking processes as well. Your sneaker will be made by Sam of VIJZ. He will make sure to guide you through the whole process.
