SneakerBAAS x VIJZ

For a unique activation of PUMA and SneakerBAAS, a concept was devised that fits the location of Sneakerness 2019 in Rotterdam. PUMA supplied 50 pairs of sneakers that formed the basis for a custom-made sneaker. This is how PUMA x SneakerBAAS 'Confiscated Product' was born, a sneaker inspired by the illegal circuit of the port of Rotterdam. Every day, customs intercept several deliveries that are not allowed to enter our country. The sneakers were customized by hand by the Dutch sneaker customizer VIJZ Bespokes. Among other things, he provided them with the latitude and longitude of the location of Sneakerness ’19, printed a customs stamp on the insole and was inspired for the colors by the striking orange work clothes of the port staff. The sneakers could only be won at the 'Confiscated' container at Sneakerness by means of a scratch card. The clothing of the 'BAAS' crew was also specially designed for this event.
