Masters Expo 2023

This past year we attended the Masters Expo at the Amsterdam RAI for the very first time. From December 7th till the 11th we had the opportunity to showcase our craft at the luxury business fair. The Masters Expo is an event that celebrates design, luxury and craftsmanship in the form of lifestyle and arts.

We had a great time talking to individuals that bring their passion to their work and many more visitors that share the same appreciation for quality and design. With our contribution to the Masters Expo we were hoping to connect to many people with common interests and values, going back home with a lot more inspiration.

Being the first and only shoemakers specialized in bespoke sneakers that have joined the Masters Expo we wanted to stand out. Our exhibition stand for this event was created by Lars van der Zijden and with his design he embodied the essence of vintage furniture and translated our love for old craftsmanships.

The process of preparing the stand at the event with Lars and our VIJZ team was a big contrast to when the fair actually took place. Going from lifting and building with safety helmets, to wearing a three-piece suit and receiving guests at our stand that we put up moments ago are like two different worlds. It’s something fun to look back on and share together as a team.

We introduced our handcrafted sneakers to many visitors and shared our newest addition of being able to customize an existing shoe to your organization’s branding. Having this extra service allows entrepreneurs and organizations to gift and share the joy of sneakers with their team, businessrelations or clients. It opens up a new journey and distributes our passion for sneakers to many more people.

Many thanks to the organizations of the event: the Masters expo itself, as well as the people from Amsterdam RAI for putting all their energy into making this event happen and giving us creatives a platform to share and connect.
