New techniques and new materials. As part of the latest re-invented series of VIJZ, we are back with an oldie, but goldie, the Air Max 1 Off-White™ X VIJZ ‘The Forgotten One’.

NIKE X OFF-WHITE™
The footwear collaboration between the Nike Brand and Off-White designer Virgil Abloh was one of the most groundbreaking happenings back in 2017. Together they launched a 10-pair series of classic Nike silhouettes, which the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG was part of.  This silhouette came with a classic colorway of red, white and black-based deconstructed leather upper and branded with Nike’s address on the side.

‘THE FORGOTTEN ONE’
Although Nike decided to drop ten different amazing silhouettes, we think they forgot one, the Air Max 1. That’s why we chose to develop an Air Max 1 which is inspired on the colorway and elements of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. With the release of this silhouette, sneakerheads will get a new chance to buy a custom-made pair. 

Each pair has its own numbering on the inside of the tongue, which makes them unique. This silhouette consists of new details and elements. On the medial side of the shoe can be found an adjusted hand painted text which says: ‘Made by VIJZ, Off-White ™ for NIKE ‘’AIR MAX1’’, The Netherlands, c. 1987’. The Off-White ™-logo is painted on the heel and a deconstructed Nike Swoosh on the other side is the finish in touch. The inner lining is made of a combination of Italian calf leather and the upper is mainly made out of real python leather.

The sneakers come with a lot of extra’s: 4 pairs of laces, certificate of authenticity, shoe trees and shoe protection bags in a luxury VIJZ sneakerbox. Only 10 slots will be available.

€ 1400,- (incl. VAT,  and donor shoes)

DELIVERY TIME AND SHIPPING
The delivery time of a pair of shoes made by VIJZ is up to 10-12 weeks. The manufacturing process starts from the moment payment has been done.

SIZING
The following sizes are used for each pair: EU38/US5,5 to EU48/US13,5 , including half sizes. PLEASE NOTE: This is a men only release.
